Frequently Asked Questions
Check out the list below and reach out via our contact form if your question isn't answered here.
Have A Question?
Q: Are you certified AS9100, ISO900x, ITAR/EAR compliant?
A: We employ a Quality Management System that is based on and follows ISO9001 standards but are not formally certified compliant at this point in time.
Q: Do you accept outsourced work from other shops?
A: Yes. If you're a machine shop looking to "farm out" some work, get in touch to see if a strategic partnership with PMDI might be of mutual benefit. Not having adequate capacity to fully manage a job under your own roof doesn't have to be a show stopper.
Q: Do you ship locally/regionally or nationally/internationally?
A: We routinely ship orders anyplace within the lower 48 states. Customers with an international presence generally handle export and customs on their own but we are happy to discuss any special accommodations if needed. For local customers we can arrange for shipping via our truck or a carrier of your choice.
Q: How large are your facilities?
A: Our production floor encompasses approximately 20,000 ft². We also maintain a 4,000 ft² warehouse/shipping area for a quicker turnaround from order to fulfillment.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We have been doing business at our present location in Langley, OK since 1994. We've expanded our facilities several times through the years and presently occupy approximately 40,000 ft² including offices, production, and warehousing.
Q: What are your machining capabilities? Do you have an itemized list of equipment available?
A: Please see our capabilities page for an overview. We maintain a variety of horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers, fabrication equipment, traditional/manual lathes, and mills. A detailed list of makes, models, and capacities isn't available on our website but if you're an OEM looking to outsource work with particular needs, please reach out via our contact form and we'll be glad to discuss it all with you in greater detail.
Q: Where are you located? My GPS app can't find your address.
A: We apologize for any difficulty that you might have locating our place of business. Unfortunately, physical addresses in our area sometimes cause problems for GPS and mapping apps. Please see our contact page for directions, a map, and GPS latitude/longitude. Failing that, you can always telephone us for directions from your location.
